NORTH-I/ABID

TTG proud to announced the launch of NORTH-I/ABID (Anomaly Based Intrusion Detection). TTG heralds the development of a new family of advanced NORTH-I network analysis solutions, building on the worldwide success of TTG's industry-leading NORTH-I technology. It will offer network operators the chance to enjoy major reductions in performance management workload and significant improvements in the detection and diagnosis of faults and problems. It does this through performance profiling, which Mehmet Beyaz, CTO of TTG defines as: "the ability to establish characteristic network behavior and automatically detect deviations from it."  The new system reads performance data from the accepted industry-standard NORTH-I system and correlates and reports changes throughout multiple counters, discovering relationships between a particular pattern of change in performance and a particular problem or usage incident.
