PORTUS Mobile Number Portability

In the telecommunications industry, mobile numbers are increasingly being seen as an asset of the regulator. TTG and CIT’s Mobile Number Portability (MNP) solution PORTUS permits local number portability for operators in different countries. The operators receive porting details from clearing houses and routes signaling messages for the ported numbers. PORTUS resides in the operators’ network and provides end-to-end number porting activities for both prepaid and postpaid subscribers. PORTUS automates and streamlines number portability port requests and transactions, reducing costs and eliminating errors.
